Cooking Games

So I recently downloaded Order Up! To Go for the iOS and have been playing it for the past week. It's really addictive and I can't wait for the next update.

What I like about it:

1. It's like Cooking Mama! But fast-paced!

2. Cute bean-like characters.

3. BGM.

What I don't like about it:

THE "ITALIAN" WAITRESS AT STUFFOLINI'S.

Bad pronunciation is bad. And her voice is annoying too!

The other cooking game I like is going to be shut down. That's right. Tinier Cafe is officially closing on February 28, 2012. I don't know why they're closing it, but  I do know that I'm going to miss playing it. It's probably the only cafe simulation game where the food don't expire.

Day Out with the Parents

Went out with Maman earlier today to get new glasses made. I don't get them until tomorrow. OTL
Had lunch at Yellow Cab then she bought me three pairs of earrings! (I'll post photos of them soon...I forgot to take some.../shot)

So a friend has a new group and she doesn't know how to enable submissions. Here's a little guide on how to do that.


First, go to the Admin Area then click on the Manage Members button to the far left.


Next, select "members" as shown here:

Then scroll down in the second box and look for the "On Gallery, Members:" section. 
As you can see, submissions to the "Featured" folder are currently not allowed. If you want people to be able to submit to said folder, then change the settings. If not, you can leave it be. 

Now, the sub folders initially inherit the "Featured" folder's setting, so if submissions to it are not allowed, then members can't submit to the sub folders either. To fix this click on the "show all folders" link and manually change the settings for each sub folder.

1. This limits submissions to the group.
2. This lets you screen submissions to your group.
     "Voted needed" -- If you have more than one administrators, you can set this to the number you have. But if you're the only admin, 1 vote will suffice.



So that's pretty much it. I hope I wasn't too confusing!

The hunt for the elusive shiny Alodia.

Get the Pokémon reference?

Well yeah.

While playing Tinier Me, I noticed a sudden influx of Filipino players. All of them were talking about one person: Tinier Me sponsor/endorser/virtual idol Alodia!  

I decided to check out the commotion and went server-hopping, hoping to catch a screenie of said sponsor on Selfy Town. But after wading in the tall grass (still a Pokémon reference) for an hour or so, I was never able to catch her.


It was a great move by GCREST to get Alodia to endorse Tinier Me. She brings a heavy load of traffic to the site. More players = more fun!


1 hour wasted. But it's okay. I got a blog post out of it anyway. :P
